Brazil Wonder is a 3-week remote work & travel experience immersed in the energy of Rio de Janeiro - one of the world's most captivating cities. You'll be based in Santa Teresa, one of Rio's most charming and artistic neighborhoods, known for its colorful streets and creative energy.

Expect: sunlit coworking spaces, samba nights, cultural depth, and epic adventures - from a sunrise hike at Morro Dois Irmãos to a weekend escape in Búzios - with a tribe that feels like home, wherever you are.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

We'll be based in Santa Teresa, one of Rio de Janeiro's most charming and artistic neighborhoods, for the full three weeks. Just 30 minutes walk from Flamengo Beach, 15 minutes from Copacabana, and 10 minutes from Lapa's nightlife, we're perfectly positioned to experience everything Rio has to offer. Our home features a shared kitchen, coworking space, and even a BBQ area.

On the weekends, we'll dive into unforgettable adventures: start with a sunrise hike up Morro Dois Irmãos for panoramic views over Ipanema and Leblon, then visit Cristo Redentor and explore Rio's favelas the authentic local way; and escape for a full weekend in Búzios - a stunning beach town famous for its turquoise waters, laid-back vibe, and lively promenade.

We'll stay in a spacious house in Santa Teresa, featuring a shared kitchen, bright common areas, coworking space with fast WiFi, and a BBQ area - everything you need to work, eat well, and connect with the tribe in the heart of Rio.

Brazil Trip FAQs

  • Yes — Brazil Wonder is built for people who work remotely (employees, freelancers, or business owners). You’ll need a laptop and the flexibility to work weekday mornings/afternoons, since we plan adventures around evenings and weekends.

  • Your spot ($1,800 semi-private / $2,700 private) covers 3 weeks of accommodation in our Santa Teresa home, daily coworking with high-speed WiFi, all group activities (sunrise hike to Morro Dois Irmãos, Cristo Redentor, a weekend escape to Búzios), community dinners, and 24/7 support from our team. Flights, personal meals, and travel insurance aren’t included.

  • We confirm the trip once we reach 6 travelers. A $500 deposit secures your spot, with the balance due before departure. We accept payments via Wise and Venmo (no fee) or credit card (+3.9–4.9% fee), and payment plans are available — just ask.

  • Travel insurance is required for all travelers — we partner with SafetyWing for affordable coverage built for remote workers. Visa requirements for Brazil vary by nationality and have changed recently, so please check directly with the Brazilian consulate or embassy for your specific requirements before booking.

  • Absolutely — most of our tribers come solo! You’ll share a semi-private room with another traveler (or book a private room for extra space), and you’ll be joining a built-in community from day one.

  • Our home in Santa Teresa has a dedicated coworking space with high-speed WiFi, a shared kitchen, and a BBQ area. Santa Teresa is one of Rio’s most artistic neighborhoods, just 30 minutes from Flamengo Beach and 15 minutes from Copacabana, with plenty of cafes nearby if you want a change of scenery.
