WHERE ARE WE GOING?
We start in Medellin, a modern and vibrant city surrounded by mountains and full of creative energy. Known for its spring-like weather year-round, Medellín has become a hub for remote workers thanks to its cafe culture, friendly locals, walkable neighborhoods, and strong sense of community. Here, you’ll get to experience life like a local in Laureles, a warm and residential district filled with leafy streets, great restaurants, coworking-friendly cafes, running routes, and parks.
During your first two weeks, you’ll settle into a steady remote work rhythm while discovering the city’s cultural treasures, from the historic center and its Plaza Botero sculptures to Comuna 13, a powerful story of transformation told through vibrant street art and local voices. You’ll also spend a weekend exploring Guatape, known for its colorful houses and the climb up La Piedra del Peñol, offering one of the most breathtaking views in Colombia.
After immersing in Medellín’s lively urban pulse, we transition into nature in the Coffee Region - specifically Salento, a charming small town surrounded by green mountains, misty mornings, and Colombia’s most iconic landscapes. Here, everything slows down. We’ll hike the Cocora Valley among towering wax palms, visit a family-owned coffee farm, and enjoy afternoons wandering through colorful streets, cafes, and mountain viewpoints. It’s the perfect way to close the retreat grounded in nature, connection, and calm.
OUR CASA
In Medellín, we’ll be staying in a modern coliving house in Laureles, one of the city’s most walkable and friendly neighborhoods. Each private room has its own desk, so working remotely is easy and comfortable. The house has a dedicated coworking area, an open kitchen where we’ll share meals, and common spaces that make it easy to hang out, connect, and relax between work sessions. It’s the kind of home where it feels natural to start your day with coffee and end it with conversation.
In Salento, we’ll switch the city pace for nature. Our stay is in an accommodation surrounded by green hills, colorful streets, and views of the mountains. It’s simple, calm, and the perfect reset after exploring Medellín.
