The remote work trip that blends urban energy, coffee landscapes, and connection.

Colombia Experience is a 2-week remote work & travel program for remote workers, creatives, and entrepreneurs who want more than just a vacation. You’ll live and cowork from Medellín, a vibrant city full of creative energy, cafés, and walkable neighborhoods - before ending with 4 unforgettable days in Salento, Colombia’s breathtaking Coffee Region.

Expect: productive weekdays, local cuisine, cultural treasures, and city life - followed by weekend adventures hiking Cocora Valley, visiting coffee farms, and exploring colorful streets - with a group that loves culture, coffee, and adventure as much as you do.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

We’ll be based in Medellín for the first two weeks, a modern and vibrant city nestled in the Andes and full of creative energy. Known for its year-round spring-like weather, Medellín has become a hub for remote workers thanks to its café culture, friendly locals, and walkable neighborhoods. Manila, our home base, is close to everything, with great restaurants, coworking-friendly cafés, running routes, and parks - everything you need to settle in and live like a local.

During the weekdays, you’ll balance focused work with coffee breaks, local exploration, and evening connection with the group.

For the final four days, we’ll move to Salento, a charming town in Colombia’s Coffee Region surrounded by green mountains and misty mornings. Here, the pace slows and weekends are for adventure: hiking the Cocora Valley among towering wax palms, visiting family-run coffee farms, and wandering colorful streets, cafés, and viewpoints - fully immersing in Colombia’s nature, culture, and warmth.

OUR CASA

In Medellín, we’ll be staying in a modern coliving house in Manila, one of the city’s most walkable and friendly neighborhoods. Each private room has its own desk, so working remotely is easy and comfortable. The house has a dedicated coworking area, an open kitchen where we’ll share meals, and common spaces that make it easy to hang out, connect, and relax between work sessions. It’s the kind of home where it feels natural to start your day with coffee and end it with conversation.

In Salento, we’ll switch the city pace for nature. Our stay is in an accommodation surrounded by green hills, colorful streets, and views of the mountains. It’s simple, calm, and the perfect reset after exploring Medellín.

🇨🇴 OLGA

Olga is a proud paisa born and raised in Medellin - your local host and travel-loving guide through this colorful corner of Colombia. After years of exploring both her hometown and the world, she’s developed a sixth sense for uncovering the best cafes, hidden bars, and the coolest spots that rarely make it into guidebooks.

Whether the group is wandering through Medellín’s creative districts or soaking in the magic of Salento’s landscapes, Olga makes sure everyone experiences Colombia with the eyes - and heart - of a local. She’s passionate about people, stories, and cultural exchange.

For her, the best part of traveling is the human connection - and as a host, she creates the space for meaningful conversations, shared laughs, and an authentic taste of Colombian warmth.

A DAY WITH THE TRIBE …

A day with Nomatribe flows naturally, you choose your rhythm, and the group supports it.
We work, move, explore, and share moments that feel easy and real.

  • A soft start to the day - maybe a morning walk, a quick workout, café run, or quiet time to ease in.

  • Work mode. You’ll have access to a designated place to work from plus cafés and rooftops nearby. Everyone’s on their laptop, headphones on, building things, making calls, sending proposals - remote work stays remote work.

  • Breaks happen naturally - someone suggests fruit, bakery stop, or a sunlight stretch on the patio.

  • This is where the magic usually happens. Skillshares, local dinners, dance lessons, sunset viewpoints, or wandering a new neighborhood together.
