The remote work trip that blends historic charm, volcanoes, and community.

Guatemala Fuego is a 3-week remote work & travel experience designed for people who want to stay productive while immersing in culture, nature, and real connection. You’ll be based in Antigua, a vibrant colonial city surrounded by volcanoes, artisan markets, and some of the best coffee in Latin America.

Expect: sunlit coworking patios, market-fresh meals, cultural depth, and epic outdoor adventures - including the Acatenango Overnight Hike to witness Volcán Fuego’s eruptions - with a tribe that feels like home, wherever you are.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

We’ll be based in Antigua for the full three weeks, a walkable, vibrant, and culturally rich city that feels both inspiring and grounding. Mornings begin with coffee from a local roastery, and evenings end with markets, live music, or quiet rooftop views of the surrounding volcanoes.

During the weekdays, you’ll work remotely at your own pace - whether from our home or nearby cafés - while afternoons and evenings are for connecting with the tribe through dinners, salsa nights, skillshares, or local food experiences.

On the weekends, we’ll dive into unforgettable adventures: hike the Acatenango and Fuego Overnight Trek to watch lava eruptions under the stars and wake above the clouds, and enjoy a Lake Atitlán getaway with relaxed mornings by the water, visits to small Mayan villages, artisan shops, and immersive local culture.

A DAY WITH THE TRIBE …

A day with Nomatribe flows naturally, you choose your rhythm, and the group supports it.
We work, move, explore, and share moments that feel easy and real.

  • A soft start to the day - maybe a morning walk, a quick workout, café run, or quiet time to ease in.

  • Work mode. You’ll have access to a designated place to work from plus cafés and rooftops nearby. Everyone’s on their laptop, headphones on, building things, making calls, sending proposals - remote work stays remote work.

  • Breaks happen naturally - someone suggests fruit, bakery stop, or a sunlight stretch on the patio.

  • This is where the magic usually happens. Skillshares, local dinners, dance lessons, sunset viewpoints, or wandering a new neighborhood together.
