MEXICO WONDER: Merida
From $1,950 USD*
* All-inclusive remote work trip - Accommodation + weekend activities. The remote work trip that blends Mayan wonders, cenotes, and colonial charm.Mexico Wonder is a 3-week remote work & travel experience designed for people who want to stay productive while immersing in culture, food, and real connection.
You'll be based in Mérida, the colorful capital of Yucatán - one of Mexico's safest, most walkable, and most culturally rich cities.
Expect: a pool-side coworking house, Yucatecan food, Sunday bike rides down Paseo de Montejo, and epic weekend adventures - including Chichén Itzá, swims in crystal-clear cenotes, and the surreal pink lagoons of Las Coloradas - with a tribe that feels like home, wherever you are.
WHERE WE’RE GOING
We'll be based in Mérida for the full three weeks, a vibrant colonial city full of color, history, and flavor. Mornings begin with coffee in a hidden courtyard café, and evenings end with live trova in the plazas, a walk down Paseo de Montejo, or tacos de cochinita with the group.
During the weekdays, you'll work remotely at your own pace - from our house or nearby cafés - while afternoons and evenings are for connecting with the tribe through family dinners, salsa classes, food tastings, and skillshares.
On the weekends, we'll head beyond the city: walk the yellow streets of Izamal, explore Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and cool off in the cenotes of Homún. We'll also discover Las Coloradas - its pink lagoons, flamingos, and mangrove reserve by boat - plus the Pueblo Mágico of Motul and a traditional Mayan white clay ritual.
OUR CASA
We'll stay in a house in Colonia Centro, close to some of Mérida's favorite spots - Paseo de Montejo, Avenida Colón, and Barrio de Santiago. The house has a pool, shared common areas, outdoor spaces, and a designated quiet coworking space with high-speed internet.
It's simple, comfortable, and ideally located: restaurants, cafés, shops, and local spots are all close by, and the Cathedral and Zócalo are about a 5-minute drive away - making everyday life effortless while you enjoy remote work and cultural adventures.

🇲🇽 Fer
Fer is a proud mexicana with endless curiosity and a real passion for sharing her culture. Ask her anything - why Izamal is painted yellow, how many kinds of mole Oaxaca has, or what the Maya and Zapotecs left behind - and she’ll have the fun fact ready (plus three more you didn’t ask for).
She’s traveled all over her country, from the cenotes of Yucatán to the mountains and markets of Oaxaca, and she knows the local side of Mexico that’s hard to find on your own: the family-run kitchen, the spot without the crowds, the tradition behind every festival. That’s the Mexico she can’t wait to share with you.
A remote worker herself, Fer knows how to balance a full workday with a life full of adventure. She brings curiosity, warmth, and genuine joy to the group - and she’s happiest when she’s watching someone fall in love with Mexico the way she has.
A DAY WITH THE TRIBE …
A day with Nomatribe flows naturally, you choose your rhythm, and the group supports it.
We work, move, explore, and share moments that feel easy and real.
-
A soft start to the day - maybe a morning walk, a quick workout, café run, or quiet time to ease in.
-
Work mode. You’ll have access to a designated place to work from plus cafés and rooftops nearby. Everyone’s on their laptop, headphones on, building things, making calls, sending proposals - remote work stays remote work.
-
Breaks happen naturally - someone suggests fruit, bakery stop, or a sunlight stretch on the patio.
-
This is where the magic usually happens. Skillshares, local dinners, dance lessons, sunset viewpoints, or wandering a new neighborhood together.
